You can judge a service by how it makes people wait. The physical and virtual spaces we make people wait in can be uncomfortable, dehumanising, and culturally unsafe. So we asked, what if we reimagined the way people wait?
Opening the invite to anyone in Melbourne, we gathered 40 people in our studio to play the role of designer, and reimagine the future of waiting to be more inclusive, engaging and human.
This event had two parts:
- A panel that stretched our imagination and definition of ‘waiting’ from the perspective of different communities.
- Activities that saw us collaborating with new faces, and applying this new thinking, together.
For those who couldn't make it, we recorded the panel and are pleased to share it with you here.
