Climate, nature and energy
Humanity has never faced a greater challenge than climate change. We need to accelerate towards drawdown: 1 the future point in time when levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere stop climbing and start to steadily decline.
Humanity has never faced a greater challenge than climate change. We need to accelerate towards drawdown: 1 the future point in time when levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere stop climbing and start to steadily decline.
Today works with activists, innovators and policymakers to drive climate action now.
Climate activism
The political pendulum is beginning to swing in a positive direction, but continued pressure needs to be applied to government and business to drive greater action, faster.
This means encouraging people from all walks of life to participate in climate activism, and supporting the wellbeing of those on the frontlines.
Adopting (re)new solutions
The solutions to climate change are clear: renewable energy, sustainable homes and buildings, a greener transport system and sustainable agriculture.
The economic value of them is well understood: delivering half of our electricity from renewable sources by 2050 would create more than 28,000 jobs. 2
To speed up the transition, we need to make these solutions accessible, desirable and effective for all.

Protecting nature
As temperatures rise and habitats are destroyed, caring for our natural world has never been more time critical.
Thousands of passionate citizens, scientists, lawyers, policymakers and environmental workers are working to protect the natural world in ways big and small. Technology helps connect these people and their efforts, and can create network effects that increase impact.
