Philippa is a human-centred and systems design specialist driven by enabling social and ecological transition at both a local and a global scale. She is equally at ease delivering design-led transformation for large scale organisations as she is building ground-up change with communities, activists and small NGOs. She brings vast experience spanning social innovation, participatory design, strategy and service, design research, customer experience, design management and community engagement.
Philippa ran her own design consulting gig (& Projects) for nearly a decade and has worked with many high impact companies before joining us at Today. She taught design research/social innovation and sustainable global futures at RMIT University. She has a background in cultural and development studies and sociology, using an Industrial Design degree to undesign consumerism and experiment with HCD and social innovation on the ground.
Her positive can-do attitude and passion enable her to inspire people with design led change, find the pathways to do so and deliver high impact outcomes with clients, communities and users.
