Service Design Lead, Melbourne

We’re looking for an exceptional Service Design Lead with a passion for making the world a better place.

Service Design Leads at Today drive the transformation of business and government service delivery. They imagine and execute programs of design-led research to meaningfully include system actors in the design process, and work with them to generate bold ideas and iterate concepts. They wrangle complexity to find the signal amongst the noise. They encourage and guide collaboration in transdisciplinary teams to unleash fresh thinking and activate big ideas.

We’re a strategic design business, bringing together the best research, design and technology minds to tackle the world’s complex challenges. We’re founded on purpose, working across health, education, giving and public service to bring about benefit for people, communities and the planet. Day-to-day, we tackle challenges like domestic violence, gender equity, homelessness and climate change. We believe in the power of design to make change happen, at pace and at scale.

We’re optimistic about the power of design and technology to tackle the complex, interconnected challenges facing our planet right now. We’d like to work with similarly optimistic folk who are as comfortable consulting with senior stakeholders on business transformation as they are in the field, facilitating the co-design of service and product concepts.

We value systems thinking, pragmatic problem solving, gumption and the deep understanding of the role of technology in service transformation. Above all, we value curiosity, passion, creativity and invention.
